Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
  • 5 lbs. potates (I prefer Russet)
  • 1 clove of minced garlic
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • ½ C butter
  • 1 C sour cream
  • 1½ tsp. onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 C warm milk
Instructions
  1. Peel and cut potatoes into one inch pieces
  2. In a 5 qt. slow cooker, add potatoes, chicken broth, and butter
  3. Cook on high for 5 hours until potatoes are soft
  4. Add all remaining ingredients, minus the milk
  5. Using an electric mixer, beat until whipped
  6. Slowly add warm milk until smooth
  7. Cover on low setting until ready to serve.
